New Member Videos & Welcome Home Class

We are excited to welcome a bunch of new members to our church family. If you were in service last Sunday you saw some, but there were different videos for each service. You can watch all of the videos (including the one from this Sunday's service on our website or by clicking the button below. If you were inspired by the videos and want to learn more about what we believe as a church family or how to get more involved, you are welcome to attend our Welcome Home! class which starts a new session starts on Sunday, February 2 at 9:45am (We hold this class about twice a year so the next opportunity will be in the fall).

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, January 26! Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. We will be serving refreshments in the Connections Room at 9:45am.

Bible Study Opportunities

Get connected with our church family in the new year! Here are some great opportunities for you to grow your faith and build relationships with other believers.

ADULT SUNDAY CLASSES – classes continue this Sunday at 9:45am. Classes for all ages and stages of life are available at 9:45am. Check out classes and topics here.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – We have 4 options: 2 on Tuesdays at 6:30pm including a special 8 week study called "Who is Jesus?". We also have 2 options on Wednesdays at 9:25am, one for women of all ages and the other for mothers. Find the study for you here. We invite all women to join us!
MEN’S STUDY - Men, join us as we have our bible study on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.
THURSDAY MORNING PRECEPTS - If you have enjoyed this current sermon series on Zechariah and want to delve a little deeper using the precepts method, join us Thursdays from 9-11:15am starting in February. Contact Linda at lgforhim@hotmail.com before January 19. The book cost is $22.
CHILDREN & YOUTH – Wednesday nights at CBC are packed! AWANA (PreK-Grade 6), C-Team (Grades 7-8) and SWAT (Grades 9-12) all offer fun, engaging ways for your children to build friendships and grow in their faith.

Church Lunch & Congregational Meeting

Our monthly church lunches start this month! These meals are hosted by our high school student missionaries, and donations go towards their summer mission trips. Plan to join us at Noon on Sunday, January 26 for a delicious lunch of chicken parmigiana on pasta! This month is also a bake/craft sale with items to purchase even if you cannot join us for lunch. We need a headcount to plan food and seating, so click the button below to RSVP. The January Congregational Meeting will start after lunch is served.

Mark your calendars for these major events happening early 2025:

Sanctity of Life Sunday - January 19 with a special presentation about a new ministry "Safe Families" at CBC at 9:45am in the Youth Room. Safe Families aims to help local families avoid foster care by providing childcare and community to parents in crisis. Come and hear how you can be a part of supporting our community is this tangible way and help preserve families.
Men's No Regrets Conference - February 1 from 7:30am - 1:30pm (Registration is now only $25! There is a table in the Hub this Sunday if you have questions or need help registering)
Marriage Dessert Night - February 6 from 6:15-8pm (Registration is open! Please register if you need childcare as well)
Men & Boys Winter Retreat - February 21-23 (Registration is now open! There is a table in the Hub this Sunday if you have questions or need help registering.)

Zambia 2025 Trip

Village of Hope cares for over 100 children in the village, teaches over 650 students at the School of Hope, and offers education courses at the College of Hope. Calvary continues to partner with this organization through gospel-centered relationships with the children, assisting at the School of Hope, providing construction assistance, as well as financial assistance as a church. If you are interested in serving with our team June 27-July 7, please apply via the link below. Cost $3,000. First team meeting January 12. If you have questions, please reach out to Willie Nickols.

Giving Tax Statements

You can access your giving statements anytime using your MyCBC Account. We will be happy to mail you a statement but only upon request. If you requested to have one mailed last year you will receive it by mail this year. Contact the Church Office if you would like a statement mailed to you. It takes several weeks for all 2024 giving to be reported on your giving statement, so whether you are printing your own or having one mailed to you, do not expect them to be ready until end of January.
