Wrestling Well with the "Why?"

Keith Doyle, Teaching Pastor - 2/25/2026

Habakkuk 1:12 - 2:5

Last week we started our new series in Habakkuk, titled "How Long, O Lord?" Pastor Michael showed us that Habakkuk faced many trials and questioned whether God was even listening. We have likely all felt that way at some point, right? When the difficulties of life seem insurmountable, and the hill in front of you feels too steep to climb? When you've reached the end of your rope, and another disappointment comes your way? Just like Habakkuk, we all wrestle with the "why?"

But what if we learned how to struggle well with the "why?" Pastor Keith is going to walk us through Habakkuk 1:12-2:5 this week. We will see how Habakkuk took immense pain and suffering and laid those burdens at the foot of the cross. As you hear Habakkuk's story during the next 5 weeks, we encourage you to be in prayer about how we can each glorify God amid our battles. Trials and tribulations will come, but the hope of our Savior is worth celebrating. Join us this Communion Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 am.
