Conduits of Comfort

Keith Doyle, Senior Pastor - 9/10/2023

2 Corinthians 1:1-11

How do we suffer well when we’re exhausted?

  • True Comfort is Grounded in God’s Character (3,4), “…the God of mercies and the Father of all comfort…” (3,4a)
  • True Comfort is Guaranteed by God’s Consolation (4-10), “…we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself…But that was to make us rely on God…” (9,10)
  • True Comfort is Gifted by Community Care (10,11), “…you also must help us by prayer…” (11)
