Who is Jesus? Depending on the person you ask, you will likely receive very different answers. Why is this so? Why is Jesus so difficult to define? It is not because Jesus has not revealed His identity to us. Rather, it is because we are prone to elevate our constructs of Jesus over His true identity. This is a great dishonor to Jesus’ name. It may even be evidence of a faithless, offended heart!

As we return to our series in Mark, we will see that Jesus is worthy of honor, and honoring Him means forsaking our personal constructs of who we want Jesus to be. Join us this Sunday as we seek to honor and glorify Jesus as He is revealed in Scripture.
