Christmas Offering

This year, Calvary is supporting three ministries with the Christmas Offering: Samaritan's Purse, Asia Frontier Outreach, and Called to Peace Ministries. These organizations work locally and worldwide to spread hope and healing in the name of Jesus, and we're eager to support them! Donations must be received by midnight on December 31 to be included in this special offering.

Holiday Schedule Changes

It's New Year's Weekend! Please plan accordingly. Here's a few reminders about what that means:

New Year's Eve is on a Sunday so we will have one Family Worship Service at 10am. There are no classes for babies through adults on New Year's Eve.
Church Office is closed on Monday, New Year's Day. We will be open during normal hours on Tuesday, January 2.

Upcoming Opportunities

Get connected with our church family in the new year! Here are some great opportunities for you to grow your faith and build relationships with other believers.

ADULT SUNDAY CLASSES – a new session starts Sunday, January 7. Classes for all ages and stages of life are available at 9:45am. Check out classes and topics here.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – Wednesday Morning Bible Study starts on January 10. We invite all women to join us in the Fellowship Center at 9:25 AM.
MEN’S STUDY - Men, join us as we resume our study in Colossians on Wednesday, January 3 at 6:30 PM.
CHILDREN & YOUTH – Wednesday nights at CBC are packed! AWANA (PreK-Grade 6), C-Team (Grades 7-8) and SWAT (Grades 9-12) all offer fun, engaging ways for your children to build friendships and grow in their faith.

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, January 21. Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. Let us know if you are coming by clicking the button below. We will be serving refreshments in the Connections Room at 9:45am.

Mark your calendars for these major events happening early 2024:

Church Lunch & Congregational Meeting - January 28 - Join us for the first Church Lunch & Congregational meeting of 2024. Our high school students will be preparing and serving the meal to raise funds for the summer mission trip. The Congregational meeting will begin once everyone is served. We need a headcount! (Register online now!)
Men's No Regrets Conference - February 3 from 7:45am - 1:30pm (Register before midnight on 12/31 to get the discounted price of $10!)
Men & Boys Winter Retreat - February 23-25 (Registration starts 1/14/24)
Women's Spring Retreat at Osthoff Resort in Green Lake - April 19-21 (Registration begins 2/25/24)

Giving Tax Statements

Year-end giving statements will be delivered via email, or you can access your giving statements anytime using your MyCBC Account. Statements will be mailed upon request. Contact the Church Office if you would like a statement mailed to you. It takes several weeks for all 2023 giving to be reported on your giving statement, so whether you are printing your own or having one mailed to you, do not expect them to be ready until the end of January.
