Summer Mission Trip Recap
On Sunday, August 24 we will have a special middle hour (9:45am) presentation in the Worship Center to highlight our summer mission trips. Come to hear what the Lord did through our 2 SWAT teams that visited Dalas, Texas and Cincinatti, Ohio as they served the homeless population. Also hear the stories from our team that visited our ministry partners at The Village of Hope in Zambia.
Fall Kickoff Coming Soon!
As Summer is wrapping up and Fall Kickoff continues to draw closer, we want to highlight our many ways to worship, grow, serve, and share. Here's some upcoming opportunities for you to grow at Calvary:
- Invite friends & neighbors to join you for our men's weekly bible study. For more information go to: cbcneenah.org/men Registration is also now open for a special Fall Men's Breakfast on September 20.
- Kids will move up to their new classes and Children's Ministry goes back to the normal service hours starting on September 7, but volunteers are still needed. Contact Krista if you can invest in the faith of our kids. We have our annual Volunteer Training on Sunday, August 24 at noon, so if you are thinking about joining us, this is a great time to check out what we are all about. And we are even serving lunch!
- Kids Choir is back this Fall! Register your kids (grades 1-6) online at cbcneenah.org/children. KidsChoir will be helping to lead worship on October 26 and practices are on Wednesdays prior to AWANA.

Women's Ministry Bible Studies
Women’s Ministry is a place where we can grow together, build relationships with each other, and serve alongside each other. The women at Calvary Bible Church are diverse—single, married, career-oriented, family focused, young, middle-aged, and senior-aged. We offer Bible studies, events, and opportunities to help women connect with one another, to grow more deeply in their love for Jesus, to be able to know and apply God’s Word, and to live out God’s mission to make disciples of Jesus who make more disciples of Jesus. There is a place for everyone, and we invite all the women of CBC to join us.
We have several opportunities for Women to grow in their faith and build community with some amazing (but imperfect) women in our church family, including these three options:
- Women Together Tuesdays - 6:30-8pm in the Community Room starting September 9. This fall we are doing a study based upon the book "Everyday Faithfulness" by Glenna Marshall.
- Women Together Wednesday - 9:25-11am in the Fellowship Center West starting September 10. This fall we are doing a Bible study based upon the book of Philippians called "Joy!" by Keri Folmar.
- Mother's Together Wednesday - 9:25-11am in the Fellowship Center East starting September 10. This fall we are doing a study based upon the book "Everyday Faithfulness" by Glenna Marshall.
- note: there is not childcare available for Tuesday Evenings study, but there is for the Wednesday morning studies. Also note, that we are planning on "flip-flopping" the studies come January, so if both books look intriguing, then choose based upon your schedule. Studies will be team taught and the discussion around the topics geared for appropriate life stages.
Please register today so we can make sure we have books and supplies ready for you!

AWANA Registration
AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." This children's club is designed to teach children God's Word with a fun, clear, and consistent presentation of the gospel each Wednesday. Your child (Preschool3 - Sixth Grade) will have the opportunity to recite scripture, play games, and meet new friends. This is a great place for kids to grow in their faith - and an amazing opportunity to invite friends. AWANA meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm, September through the first week in May. The 2025/2026 AWANA Year starts on Wednesday, September 10. Register by clicking the button below.
Please note: volunteers are needed to run each of the AWANA clubs. If you feel called to invest your time and talents in this incredible ministry, we invite you to join us. Your commitment, no matter how big or small, can help shape the faith journey of a child and contribute to building a strong foundation for their future. Contact the church office if you are interested in being a part of the team.

Congregational Survey
Calvary Bible Church is partnering with a third-party pastoral search consulting group called NL Moore & Associates (NLM). NLM provides a tested and tried process for helping churches find their next Senior Pastor. The first step in their process is creating a church profile for CBC to be given to potential candidates. One of the profile-building steps is inviting the church to complete a congregational survey. The church-profile survey is conducted by NLM’s strategic partner, HC!C. It is an 83-question assessment completed by the church’s members and regular attenders and takes roughly 20 minutes to complete. This survey is one way that the church family is invited to provide input into the search process. The survey will be available to the congregation from August 17 through September 4.
Calvary Bible Church has not done a congregational survey in quite some time. Please keep the following factors in mind as you complete the survey:
- The survey is optional and anonymous. Results will be a summary of the combined responses. Neither CBC nor NLM will have access to individual responses.
- The survey is open to regular attenders & members of Calvary Bible Church in Neenah who are age 16+.
- The survey is not intended to imply “right” or “wrong” answers. Choose the response you feel best represents your perspective.
- The survey is not designed by CBC, and may contain questions you are unable or unwilling to answer. You may decline to answer by responding with “I don’t know”, “no response”, or “I prefer not to answer”.
- The survey is one of many tools that will be used for creating the church profile given to potential candidates.
- If you cannot take the survey digitally, then paper copies of the survey are available at the Welcome Desk or in the Church Office.
