Pastor Swap!

This Sunday, Pastor Keith will be preaching up at Sturgeon Bay Community Church and Pastor Joe Pytleski will be joining us. Joe Pytleski is the Lead Pastor of Sturgeon Bay Community Church (Door Co.), which is part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). Before taking that role, he served as the Associate Pastor of Evangelism at Calvary (2018–2021), overseeing the Missions Ministry and doing local outreach. He has also served in ministry as a theological editor and overseas missionary in Argentina. He received his Master’s of Theology with a concentration in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is married to Christina and has four children: Mia (18), Noah (14), Elliot (10), and Emmett (3).

February Church Lunch & Mission Trip Opportunities

Our February Church Lunch is coming up quickly. Join us after worship services on February 16 as our high school students prepare and serve us a delicious lunch of chicken cordon bleu, pork loin, roasted potatoes and veggies. They are fundraising for their summer mission trips - there is no cost for lunch but all donations will go towards their summer mission trips!

While you are eating the delicious food, our Global Missions Team will share a bit about a few opportunities we have coming up for mission trips. If you can't be at the lunch, we will have a missions newsletter available at the lunch, the Welcome Desk, and a table in the Hub the next couple of Sundays.

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, February 23! Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. We will be serving refreshments in the Connections Room at 9:45am.

Safe Families Ministry

Safe Families for Children is a nonprofit working to keep children safe and families together in the Fox Cities. This past month, Calvary began the process of launching a Safe Families volunteer ministry team! With a goal of building a village around isolated parents, Safe Families is a great way to share Jesus' love with families in our community. As a Safe Families volunteer, you can help with babysitting, mentoring, offering friendship or hosting children in your home for short periods of time.
