Happy Advent!

Our annual tradition of preludes continues this Sunday. Make sure you come into the Worship Center just a little prior to each service to hear a few of our CBC kids share their talents and play Christmas songs. They will begin playing approximately 10 minutes before each service. Grab an invite at one of the brochure stands or the Welcome Center to give to your friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors and invite them to worship with us this Advent season and learn about the hope and joy found in knowing who God is. This week we have the additional blessing of having a group of musicians playing in the Hub for 15 minutes after both Worship Services (Tammy Kazmierczak, harp; Abigail Peel, flute; Naomi Peel, Violin; Rebecca Peel, harp; and other harpists from the studio of Tammy of Kazmierczak).

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet this Sunday, December 15! Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. We will be serving refreshments in the Connections Room at 9:45am.

Campaign Update

Thanks to your generous and sacrificial financial support, we are poised to pay off the loan on our building expansion! Since 2018, our church family has given nearly $6.8 Million dollars. The rapid paydown of our loan has saved over $60,000 in interest expenses, reducing the total cost of the project. But there is still a little way to go so please continue to give, but as God provides any extra, we have a few projects that were put "on hold" that we would love to tackle. Christmas Offering

Our special Christmas offering will be collected December 5-31. You can give online by selecting the "Christmas Offering" fund which will go towards local outreach at Lac Courte Orielles Reservation and Samaritans Purse Israel Relief/Hurricane Relief in North Carolina.

Christmas Schedule Changes

Christmas is rapidly approaching! Please plan accordingly. Here's a few reminders about what that means:

December 22 & 29 are both Family Services. There are no classes for babies through adults.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services will be at 3 & 5pm.
Weekly ministries are on break (SWAT, C-Team, Awana, GriefShare, Women's & Men's Bible Studies) the week of December 22 - January 1. Ministries resume the first full week of January.
Church Office will be closed between Christmas Day and New Years Day. We have a drop box outside of the office for items/tithe envelopes and people will be regularly clearing it (and checking the office voicemail and email for urgent matters) but no one is officially in office until Thursday, January 2. We are so thankful for our hardworking church staff family and want to give them time to rest and celebrate with family.

Reminders

As we start seeing more visitors on Sundays as Christmas draws near, please make sure to scoot in on the rows and leave room for people to join us and feel welcome!
With winter weather, please let us know if you are going to be parking your car overnight. Call the church office and park your car in the West parking lot off to the side by the trailers in the case of snow.
Note: in the case of winter weather, church ministries will follow Neenah School District for closures. For example, if Neenah schools are closed on a Wednesday morning, Women's Bible studies will be cancelled. Wednesday night activities will determine if they are closed at least 2 hours prior and send an email to regular attenders and post on social media. If winter weather happens on a Sunday morning, we will send an all church email and also post it on the main page of our website.
