At Calvary Bible Church, we believe that God has called us to gather together to worship, grow, and serve. Through this ministry, we are brought to maturity in Christ. God then scatters us into our homes, workplaces, communities, and around the world to share the good news of Jesus with everyone.

Each fall marks the start of a new ministry season. We invite you to find ways for your family to join us!

We have lessons & Bible points for all ages. We believe a nurturing, safe, and clean environment in the younger years is a stepping-stone to trusting Jesus as Savior in later years. Preschool is for Age 2-4 (by September 1, 2023).

Check-in for all our families occurs in the Welcome Center. Families are encouraged to pick up a “Family Connect” monthly newsletter to work through together.

Elementary (Grades K-5)

Promotion Sunday is on September 10.

Elementary starts out every Sunday with large group worship and Bible stories. Then divide into small groups based on gender and grade for hands-on Bible reinforcement and games! Parents can pick up their children in their small group rooms.

During the school year, our preschool and elementary students are making their way through the whole Bible, book by book, over the course of a 4 year period. The stories each week are the same for all ages but the lessons and activities are geared for each development level.

We also love seeing families worshipping together in "big church". We have activity sheets available outside the Worship Center.

theBridge (Grade 6)

theBridge (Grade 6)

Promotion Sunday is on September 10 and the Bridge meets at 9:45am in room 344.

Early tweens are invited to participate in a engaging class time that helps them to "bridge" the distance between childhood & teen. We use this high energy class to emphasize the biblical worldview, reinforce spiritual disciplines & provide spiritual preparation for adolescence.

Men's Bible Study begins September 20!

Join us on Wednesday nights as we gather to study God's word and grow together as followers of Jesus. Our Men's study is designed to give men the opportunity to build relationships with other men in a local church. Our studies combine practical teaching with small group discussion time where men can wrestle with making applications to life and encourage one another as we encounter daily challenges.

This fall we are using "Stepping Up" video content with small group discussion afterwards each week.

Men's Conference

Don't miss our fall conference on September 15 & 16.

What does it take to grow as member of God's family? First, we find community - a place to belong. Then, we need someone to invite us into deeper relationship with Jesus. Join us this weekend as we discover how God works through his people to help them grow. Along the way, you will have several opportunities to meet other guys and build relationships that just might be the launching point for you to take the next step in your journey with Jesus. We'll start on Friday with a steak fry - because why not grill steak at a men's event? Then, we'll have a time of worship and encouragement from our Senior Pastor, Keith Doyle. Come back on Saturday morning as we open God's word together, have a brunch, engage in some fun activities, and wrap up with some more worship and sharing. It's the big Men's event of the year - don't miss it! Cost is $30.

Tuesday Evening Edition begins September 12!

Since we believe that Bible study and friendship go hand in hand, our desire is to provide you with an opportunity to meet other women as you experience rich Bible teaching.

Our fall series “Remember Your God!” is based on the book of Deuteronomy. God calls His people to be faithful and obedient in the midst of a culture that has turned away from Him. Through the lips of Moses, God tells his followers what that looks like and the blessings that come from following God.

Wednesday Bible Study begins on September 13!

We are kicking off our fall session of the Wednesday morning Women’s Bible Study with a 5-week series entitled “The Parables of Jesus.” A good story captures our attention and draws us in. That’s probably why Jesus told so many stories. In this series, we’ll take a closer look at several of these stories and how they impact us today—in the story that we’re living.

A children’s program is available on Wednesday mornings. The children’s program is free but operates as a co-op. Moms utilizing childcare commit to helping in the childcare program each quarter. Questions? Contact Bobbie (920.730.8504) or Joanna (920.739.1364). For childcare questions, contact Dana Smith (920.213.5433) or Betty Zerrien (920.850.9442).

Memory Care

Memory Care Connection is intended to be a safe place for the caregivers of loved ones with memory loss. It is a place to come together and share experiences and support each other while learning helpful ideas and strategies for walking alongside loved ones with memory issues. The ability to speak and vent freely in both of these groups is a helpful way to cope with the challenges both the caregiver and family member are experiencing. We have separate groups to minister to those experiencing memory loss as well as their caregivers.

We meet every other Monday from 4-5:15pm in the Community Room (134). Join us on Monday, September 18. Please park in the West parking lot and enter at Door 19. The Community Room is straight ahead.

Intercessory Prayer

The Intercessory Prayer team gather in prayer during every Sunday morning service in Room 119. We intercede on behalf of our Pastors, staff, elders, ministry leaders, and ministries themselves. We also pray for the hearts of the people and the anointing on the teaching and worship.

If you are interested in joining our intercessory prayer team, please contact Stacy.

Marriage Mentoring

Our marriage mentors have a heart to help you develop a thriving, Christ-centered marriage! They are not counselors but are trained ministry volunteers who come alongside you and your spouse to share real-life experiences and sharpen communication and life tools necessary for maintaining a healthy marriage. Whether you are newly engaged, a newlywed, or have been married for years, your marriage can benefit from mentoring! All mentoring sessions are strictly confidential.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or would like to be mentored, please contact Norman or Doug.

Blended Families

We understand that blended families have unique challenges. We want to equip you with the biblical tools, resources, and support to help your marriage and family thrive. Our blended family ministry small groups for couples are led by trained volunteers who are in stepfamilies themselves.

If you are interested in blended family ministries, please contact Troy or Lisa Smith.

New Commandment

New Commandment meets on the third Saturday of each month from 7-11am. We have a time of Bible study and prayer followed by discussion of the work to be done before heading out to homes.

Given the aging population and size of our church, volunteers are always needed. We commonly handle maintenance type issues, such as cleaning gutters, windows, changing smoke detector batteries, raking and cleaning. We also tend to the spiritual needs of those we serve through prayer.

We do not desire to serve a widow the way the world does but with the intent to bring healing and restoration as a family does. 1 Timothy 5:3-6 specifies those whom we desire to serve.

If you are interested in being practical help to our widows, shut-ins, and single mothers, please contact Jeremy.
