Operation Christmas Child Begins

Starting today, we will be handing out shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This ministry provides gifts to children across the world, many with little or no access to the Gospel. Join us in sharing the joy of Christ's birth by packing a box with your family or small group. This year we have 3 ways to participate:

  • Boxes will be available in the lobby and the hub after services and at various ministries throughout the week. Box collection Sunday is November 19.
  • You can also pack and send a shoebox online for just $25! Click the button below to pack a box now!
  • We have a goal as a church family of 1000 boxes. Be a part of this Christmas tradition to bring the Gospel to the end of the earth!

Faith in Action Trip to Lighthouse Christian Camp

Keeping with FIA tradition we are planning a trip to Lighthouse Christian Camp in Smithville TN. Saturday, November 25 through Sunday, December 3. The cost of this trip is sharing the cost of gas and fifty dollars for food for the week. Lodging will be provided no charge in cabins onsite. Our Faith In Action Team will be helping set up The Christmas Party Store. We need as many volunteers as possible to complete this huge project. This is a great project because volunteers do not need any special skills just a willingness to serve. Our construction projects this year will be to build two car ports for the widows homes and a porch roof over the dining hall deck. Lighthouse Christian Camp, ministers to disadvantaged children of Middle Tennessee. LCC brings children, ages 9 - 11 years old to camp during the summer and back again on weekends throughout the year. Over the past 30 years, LCC has brought over 16,600 children to camp FREE!! LCC provides a BIG CHRISTMAS PARTY for these children each year. LCC is expecting 800 children!! This will be the only Christmas many of these children will know. A "STORE" is set up with donated items from individuals, like yourself. If you are interested in participating in this project, please let Mark Jeske know as soon as possible.
