Easter Week

This Sunday marks the beginning of Easter week! 

• Invitation Cards: Many people who do not normally attend church are open to attending on Easter. Why not invite them? Pick up invitation cards to share with your friends and family in the church lobby.
• Palm Sunday, April 2 - Worship Services at 8:30 & 11 am; Children's classes meet as usual, Adult classes are not meeting so more can attend the Missions Update at 9:45am in the Fellowship Center.
• Good Friday, April 7 - Service is at 6pm where we will be participating in communion by intinction.
• Easter Sunday, April 9 - Worship Services at 8:30 & 11 am; most classes meet as usual, Elementary thru High School students have an Easter pancake breakfast at 9:45am instead of class.
• Family Easter handouts available: instructions/script for families have a messianic seder meal and a family Easter week devotional/ activity booklet has been prepared by our Children's Ministry. You can find these packets at the babies counter or down by the gym. Digital copies are also available on the CBC Kids Facebook page. We will also have Easter-specific sermon sheets available at the doors for children of all ages!

Our Easter Offering will be split between Samaritan's Purse Earthquake Relief in Turkey and Vida/Bella Clinics in Appleton and Oshkosh. Click below to give to our Easter Offering to support these ministries taking care of our neighbors in the Fox Valley and around the world.

April 2 Missions Highlight

Plan on joining us on Sunday, April 2 at 9:45am in Fellowship Center West to hear updates on Pastor Keith's trip to Asia, a short-term trip to Thailand, and how you can be involved in upcoming trips!

Local Outreach: Trip to Lac Courte Orielles

A team from CBC is headed to the Lac Courte Orielles reservation on April 21-23. We will be helping out with projects and spending time sharing the love and truth of Jesus with the people there. The trip is open to adults and accompanied children. Cost is $50 per adult, children are free. Lodging and meals provided, and transportation will be figured out once we know how many people are going.

Mission Trip to France

Needed: 3-5 skilled construction volunteers are needed to help renovate an old camp building to be better utilized for ministry at camp “Praz-de-Lys”. One of our CBC missionary families, Jon Hegner, and other TEAM missionaries partner with this camp. General Laborers are also needed. Max team size 15. The trip will be from May 27 to June 7. Church Lunch and Bake/Craft Sale

It's pizza time for lunch on April 23! Join us for a church lunch that supports our SWAT (grades 9-12) Missions trip this summer to Florida. The April menu is Pepperoni, Cheese, Supreme Pizzas, Green Salad, and Brownies.  Register for the lunch by clicking the button below or texting the keyword "lunch" to (920-247-2778). Save the Date: Go West Gals (Morning in May) Event

Mark your calendars for May 6 from 9-11:45am and plan to mosey on down to buy your tickets for this event for girls and women of all ages. Have a good time mingling along with other CBC Gals and make new friends. Enjoy a snack and devotional. Take a gander at the baking demonstration. Sidle-up to check out opportunities to help girls around the world or even in this neck of the woods. Tickets go on sale on April 16 and are $2/Gal (max $10 per family) and a suggested non-perishable donation towards Double Portion. Y'all come and have a sweet ol' time.

New Precept Session - Esther

We will be studying the book of Esther for 4-weeks starting on April 27 at our Thursday Morning Precept Class. Thursday Morning Precepts are from 9-11:15am in Fellowship Center East and are led by Linda Gamerdinger. This is a great session to check out the Precept study methods and go in depth in study to this fascinating woman and book of the Bible.
