Pastor Appreciation Month

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. We are so thankful for our pastors and ministry directors who faithfully serve in the work of ministry. Take the opportunity to lift them up in prayer or offer them encouragement this week.

Child Dedication

Child Dedication Services give parents of young children a formal, public opportunity to dedicate their child to the Lord. They recognize their child as a gift from God. The parents publicly commit to providing a nurturing environment that encourages their child to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to develop an ongoing relationship with Him. The church family commits to support the parents as they disciple their child. We are excited to pray for Noah Bach (Jon & Maddy), Harvey Grulke (Michael & Angel), Lucas Metko (Ryan & Sarah), Amelia Ott (Max & Lauren), Aubrey Zager (Ethan & Danielle), Harmony Choronzy (David & Diana), Tia & Zoe Clark (Cameron & Lindsay), Elliott Glesner (Thomas & Mary), Alexandria Keller (David & Hollie), and Braelynn Westphal (Jamie & Kaitlyn).

Baptism

We believe, in accordance with the Lord’s command, Christians should be baptized as a public declaration of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through baptism, Christians are proclaiming the spiritual reality of our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ. Believers being baptized: Emma Nichols, Cyrus Winters, Kaitlin Palmer, Aviah Perkins, Elliana Perkins, Charlie Nichols, Cyrus Omdal, Malachi Perkins, Derek Brown, and Jacqueline Brown.

Ladies Christmas Tea Tickets On Sale This Sunday, October 30

Ladies: This year's Christmas Tea is on Tuesday, December 6 at 6:30pm. Tickets go on sale this Sunday, October 30 in the Hub. We plan to have more tickets available this year, but they sell FAST! If you are planning to bring a neighbor, friend, or co-worker with you to enjoy the evening and hear the Good News of Christmas, make sure you get your tickets Sunday!

Missions Weekend - This Upcoming Weekend, November 4-6

Mark your calendars for the CBC Missions Weekend on November 4-6! We have several ways for you to participate:

Host a Missionary for Dinner on Friday (5-7pm) or Saturday (3:30-5pm). You and your family or small group can share a meal with one of our missionaries and catch up on what's happening in their life and ministry. There are only a few spots left, so don't delay!
Attend the Family Missions Event at 6pm on Saturday, November 5. We will have games and breakout sessions to learn from and pray for our missionaries. We will conclude the night with an ice cream social.
Attend Sunday morning services on November 6. We will have purposeful moments throughout the services and equipping classes, as well as tables for each of the missionary families, for you to be able to learn how God has been at work in their ministries recently.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is underway! This ministry provides gifts to children across the world, many with little or no access to the Gospel. Join us in sharing the joy of Christ's birth by packing a box with your family or small group. Here's three ways you can participate:

Boxes are available in the lobby and the hub after services and at various ministries throughout the week. Box collection Sunday is November 20.

Pray for the AWANA Packing Party happening this Wednesday. Their goal is to pack 200 shoeboxes.

We have a goal as a church family of 1000 boxes. Be a part of this Christmas tradition to bring the Gospel to the end of the earth!
