Operation Christmas Child Begins

Starting today, we will be handing out shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This ministry provides gifts to children across the world, many with little or no access to the Gospel. Join us in sharing the joy of Christ's birth by packing a box with your family or small group. This year we have 3 ways to participate:

Boxes will be available in the lobby and the hub after services and at various ministries throughout the week. Box collection Sunday is November 20.
You can also pack and send a shoebox online for just $25! Click the button below to pack a box now!
And new this year, donate items for AWANA to pack shoeboxes. You can grab a donation card off the tree at the table in the lobby or click the button below with a link to a donation site. Donations need to be turned in by October 26 for the AWANA packing party on November 2.

We have a goal as a church family of 1000 boxes. Be a part of this Christmas tradition to bring the Gospel to the end of the earth!

Short Term Missions to Florida

Our missionaries Scott & Erin Ribble serve with YouthHOPE in Fort Meyers, Florida. Scott and Erin have asked if Calvary could send a team to help their community in the wake of Hurricane Ian. If your schedule would allow you to head down in the near future, please let us know by clicking the button below. We are evaluating the feasibility of a trip and will provide an update to those who are interested as soon as details are more finalized.

Missions Weekend - Save the Date

Mark your calendars for the CBC Missions Weekend on November 4-6! We have several ways for you to participate:

Host a Missionary for Dinner Friday 5-7pm or Saturday 3:30-5pm (see details and registration below)
Attend the Family Missions Event at 6pm on Saturday, November 5. We will have games and breakout sessions to learn and pray for our missionaries. We will conclude the night with an ice cream social
Attend Sunday morning services on November 6. We will have purposeful moments throughout the services as well as tables for each of the missionary families that will be attending for you to be able to learn how God has been at work in their ministries recently

Missions Weekend - Host a Missionary for Dinner

We are looking for people willing to host a missionary for dinner on Friday night (from 5-7pm) or Saturday night (from 3:30-5pm). You and your family our small group can bless them with a meal and catch up on what's happening in their life and ministry. There are only a few spots left, so don't delay! Firm Foundations (New Believers Class)

A new Adult Sunday school class starts this Sunday, October 16 at 9:45am. This nine-week class will help you understand the foundations of our faith. Starting in Genesis, we will discover the goodness of God, the effects of sin, and the salvation and restoration that is found in Jesus. This class is specifically designed for those new to the Christian faith but will be beneficial to anyone who wants to understand the story of the Gospel and be confident in sharing the good news of Jesus with others.

Last Chance: Grandparent Summit

Are you a Christian grandparent? You can have an incredible impact on the spiritual direction and destiny of your grandchildren with the right tools and encouragement. Join us at this national conference simulcast right here at CBC on October 21 & 22. Have questions? We will have a few people at a table in the Hub this Sunday to help you.
