We are excited to celebrate the growth of God's kingdom this weekend! We have believers getting baptized and people becoming members of our church family. Let's keep them in prayer as they live out their faith in the days ahead.

New Members

We want to welcome Ron Anderson, Adam & Holly Brown, Sean & Beth Freund, Charley & Leah Holsinger, Keith McCray, Dave & Joy Radford, Dave & Sue Schroeder, Ben & Alisa Sierra, Jane Tennant, Lanie Thiele, Sue Wessel, and Todd Wilke as the newest members of our church family.

These people are making several commitments by becoming members: First, to be in community with other believers at Calvary Bible Church. They are also agreeing to our core beliefs as outlined in our Church Covenant and committing to come under the authority of this local church and our leadership.

Baptism

We believe, in accordance with the Lord’s command, Christians should be baptized as a public declaration of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through baptism, Christians are proclaiming the spiritual reality of our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ.

Jill Mercer Funeral

Long-time Calvary member Jill Mercer passed away this week. There will be a funeral this Monday, June 21 at 11am. Visitation starts at 9:30am in the Worship Center. Lunch to follow.

Meet Our Missionaries

One of our missionary families is home for a visit. Meet the Fenskes from West Asia at an open house this Wednesday, June 23 from 6:30-8pm in the Community Room (Room 134).

Young Married Breakfast

Young married couples are invited to a pancake breakfast in Room 134 next Sunday, June 27 at 9:50am. We are planning on having this event once a month to help us connect and catch up on life. If you are a newly married couple or if you attended the Young Married class in the past, you are welcome to join us!

FVCA Employment Opportunities

Fox Valley Christian Academy has a number of open staff positions. Working at FVCA is a wonderful opportunity to disciple and influence the next generation of the church.
