Communion Sunday
This week is Communion Sunday at Calvary. Together, we will rejoice in the God of our salvation and resolve to proclaim the gospel wherever we go. We encourage you to spend time in prayer, and reflect on the sacrifice Christ made for each of us on the cross before we gather together. Elders and staff will serve communion from the tables at the front of the Worship Center. If you are gluten-free, please pick up the elements at tables outside the Worship Center.
Senior Pastor Candidate Announcement & Timeline
Join us this Sunday, Oct 4 at 12:15 pm in the Worship Center as we gather together to share the exciting news about who the elders are recommending to be the next senior pastor at Calvary Bible Church. Can't make it? We will be sending an email directly following the meeting with the announcement details. Next Friday, October 9, we will have an Open House for the senior pastor candidate as well. We will share the candidate's testimony, background, and there will be an opportunity for Q&A. A dessert social will follow the Open House. If you can, please let us know you are coming prior to Tuesday, October 6, so we can prepare desserts! You can RSVP at the button below. Finally, October 11 at 6:00 pm, we will have a special Congregational Meeting where we will take final Q&A and then vote on the senior pastor candidate. If you have any questions, please reach out to Search Committee Chairman, Scott Howells at sdhmtu@yahoo.com.

Missions Update - October 11
Next Sunday, October 11, we invite you to join us for a Mission Trip Report during the middle hour (9:45-10:45 am), in the Worship Center. There will be no regular ECC's that morning, so you can come hear from three of our mission teams that served in Zambia, France, and Türkiye this summer! God used our teams in amazing ways to support what He is doing through our ministry partners, and we hope you will join us!
Tap Tags
You will notice something different at your seat this week! We are excited to now have Tap Tags in our Worship Center. We wanted to find a way to make it easier for our church family to get information! Tap your phone, let us know you're here, and the tag will give you all the info you need about upcoming events and happenings here at Calvary. If you are having any issues with the tag, stop by the Welcome Desk after service and we will have staff there ready to help! If your phone isn't working, there are some troubleshooting instructions below.
Android
1) Open the Settings app
2) Tap Connected devices, Connections, or Network & internet (this varies by phone manufacturer, such as Samsung or Google Pixel).
3) Tap Connection preferences if prompted, or look directly for NFC.
4) Toggle the NFC switch to the On position.
