Find Your Place Sunday

This Sunday, we are once again pausing our normal middle hour activities for Find Your Place in the Hub! Whether you joined us last Sunday, or didn’t get a chance to stop by, we invite you to come explore ways to connect, belong, and serve here at Calvary.

Finding your place at Calvary is more than just being physically present with believers in a building. It is finding your community where you are known, and know others. We can sometimes see ourselves as an extra person in the church, not having any particular place or purpose for the building up of God’s kingdom. We see a marvelous structure being built, but we don’t know our place. But you are not an extra; you are an integral piece to our local community of believers, and we want to partner with you to find your place of belonging and purpose here at Calvary. As you enter Find Your Place on Sunday, we invite you to think about where God is leading you here in our church family...maybe that's finding new community or serving the church body. Whether you've been here 20 years, or this is your first Sunday, we want to help connect you to the place God is calling you.

When you leave the Worship Center, volunteers will be stationed in the Hub to welcome you. Throughout the space, you’ll find tables with ministry leaders and volunteers ready to answer questions, help you learn more, and find ways to get connected. This week, the event will take place during the middle hour only, from 9:45–10:45 am. We are looking forward to connecting with each of you!

Congregational Town Hall - August 30

As budget season approaches, we are doing something a little different this year as a church. We are going to host a Town Hall on Sunday, August 30, during the middle hour (9:45-10:45 am), in the Worship Center. We will share information about the upcoming budget for the 2026-2027 year here at Calvary, and how it looks different than it did last year. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage with Elders and staff about the budget prior to the vote in September. We are looking forward to gathering together to learn how we can best steward the financial gifts God has given us! Watch for an email in the next couple weeks with more details.
