Crisis Relief Efforts

Thank you to our entire congregation for the overwhelming support you have shown for our community! Thank you for your prayers, your donations, and your time serving. We have seen the love of Christ exemplified so well this week to those in need, through all of you, and we are grateful. Our plan is to continue to be open, from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, for donation drop off and pick up through the weekend, and next week as well. We will continue to need volunteers. For updates, you can go to our Crisis Response webpage listed below, or follow our Facebook page for updates @cbcneenah. Our team also created a Crisis Response Resource Guide, available at the webpage below. Please feel free to share with anyone looking for donation and volunteer resources.

Senior Pastor Search Update

The Search Team has begun interviewing and vetting a group of candidates. After this is complete, the team will bring their recommendations to the Elders. After the Elders review and approve the best candidate, they will bring the candidate to the congregation for approval. These steps will take several weeks. Please continue to pray for the next Senior Pastor and his family, the Search Team, and the Elders. We will provide another update as soon as possible, and no later than the Congregational Meeting on Sept 27.

Find Your Place @ CBC

Find Your Place. It’s a statement that aims to capture two essential purposes of the church: Belonging and Purpose. Find Your Place is more than just being physically present with believers in a building. It is finding your community where you are known and know others. It is finding your ministry where you are working together to reach the lost, care for others, and make disciples. If you are a believer, God has a place for you in His church! We want to help you Find Your Place. You are not an extra, you are an integral piece to our local community of believers. Let’s partner together and discover your place of Belonging and Purpose in the household of God. Join us on Sunday August 9 and 16, from 9:45-10:45 am, and again after second service at 12:00 pm. We will have ministries set up in the hub ready to greet you and help Find Your Place at CBC.

Men's Breakfast - Aug 8

Our Men's Ministry team here at Calvary has a passion for helping men stay connected and continue growing spiritually throughout the summer months. To bring that passion to life, we are hosting a monthly Men's Breakfast. The next breakfast fellowship event is on Saturday, August 8. We will gather at 8:00 am for breakfast and plan to be wrapped up by 9:30 am in Fellowship West (200). Each gathering will include a time of fellowship, around the tables over breakfast, followed by a short time of worship, and a brief devotional from God’s Word. While an RSVP isn't required, it will help us to get an idea of numbers for the meal. Check your email early this week for an RSVP, and let us know if you are able to join us. We look forward to having you with us!
