Community Serve Day - May 9
At Calvary, we desire to show that the love of Christ is free. We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ...not just in our church body, but also in our local community. On May 9, from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm, our Local Evangelism team is hosting "Community Serve Day," as a time for our church to show the Fox Valley Community the love of Christ in practical ways. You can participate in three different ways: Serve your Community, Serve at Calvary, or Serve your Neighbor! These opportunities include free oil changes, hot dog giveaways, free toilet cleanings, donated food collection, and many more! There will be a table in the hub on Sunday with more information, and sign-up sheets for those who are interested!
April Church Lunch - This Sunday!
Join us for our monthly Church Lunch this Sunday, April 26, at noon, in the Fellowship Center! Lunch offering this month will be a taco bar. SWAT youth will be serving the meals, and money raised will go toward their mission trip costs. If you did not register ahead of time, please feel free to still join us!
Camp SonRay
Camp SonRay is heading into the wilderness this year—welcome to Rainforest Falls! Join Children's Ministry on Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 - 12:00 pm for a morning filled with fun! We’re doing things a little differently this year for our Camp SonRay, VBS style event. Instead of a full-day kids-only camp, Camp SonRay will be Family Style! We’re creating a space where the whole family can come together and grow in discipleship side by side.
Families will experience hands-on, fun, and meaningful activities together—building faith as a unit. We also have plenty of opportunities to get involved; from decorating, leading groups, helping as a youth volunteer, or serving on the food team. We’re excited for a season focused on family, faith, and discovering more about who God is—and we’d love for you to be part of it! For more info, contact Krista Johnson at kjohnson@cbcneenah.org.
Prayer Request
We had such a wonderful Celebration Sunday last week, with many families dedicating their children, and others publicly professing their faith through baptism! Please be in prayer for each of these families, and individuals, as they move forward in faith. Pray that God would guide their steps, and that they would feel loved, supported, and encouraged in their walk with Christ.
CBC Cafe - New Cafe Manager Needed
The CBC (Oakridge) Cafe is hiring a new Cafe Manager! This role will be responsible for the management and supervision of the cafe. This includes training and recruitment of baristas, stocking supplies, upholding food safety laws, and maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism and excellence. This person will also collaborate with other ministries to serve or cater cafe items to meetings or events within CBC. Interested in applying?
