Special Congregational Meeting This Sunday, July 20

Following both Worship Services this Sunday, July 20, the Governing Board has called for a special congregation meeting. This meeting will be brief, however, to ensure proper time to ensure that Children's Ministry Volunteers are in place and to give time for people to transition properly, we are shortening our 9:45am "middle" hour and delaying the start by 15 minutes. This means that the middle hour will start at 10am and conclude at 10:45am. Children's Ministry is prepared to extend their 8:30am classes to cover the meeting after service. The Congregational Meeting Announcement will be shared again after the 11am Service. We will not be livestreaming the meeting, but for those not in attendance, an email will be going out later on Sunday. Thank you for your flexibility.

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, July 27! Visit with some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. We will be serving refreshments in the Connections Room at 9:45am.

New Text Number

Our main church phone number is now able to receive texts! And because of this, we are asking that congregants put the church number(920-725-3896) into their phones and to use this number to text "attend" when joining us for worship on Sunday mornings. There has been a misconception with many regular attenders and members that texting "attend" is only for visitors (or just if they want the bulletin). And others that think taking attendance is not important. However, knowing who is attending helps church leaders understand who is present, enabling them to better serve & care for the congregation, as well as track attendance patterns. Our desire is to support everyone who walks through our doors weekly, so please make a habit of texting "attend" to 920-725-3896 when you worship with us. Also, if you have saved the church number as the contact for a staff member, you will want to update that as well.

Summer Schedule

As we prepare for Fall Kickoff in September, we will be pausing classes for preschool, elementary, youth and ECC classes during the month of August. Infants and Toddlers will continue to have class during the 8:30 hour only. (Except for August 3 when there will be no classes in the children's wing for a special event.) This short break allows our teams and ministry leaders to rest, regroup, and refocus, while also providing space for intentional community gatherings, a two-week Ministry Fair including a Children's Wing Open House, and crucial volunteer recruitment and training. Regular summer programming continues for July, and full Sunday morning classes will resume on September 7.

From June 1 - July 27, the Sunday class schedule is:

8:30am - classes for Infants/Toddlers, Preschool
9:45am - classes for Infants/Toddlers, Preschool, Elementary, Youth (Grades 6-12), Adults (all life stages)
11am - no classes

In August, we have these exciting opportunities planned for different family worship and growth:

August 3 - Children's Ministry Wing Open House & Ministry Fair to learn of opportunities to serve our church family and community/world (no classes Infants through Adults).
August 10 - Ministry Fair to find out more about opportunities for spiritual growth through being involved in classes, studies, and other ministries.
August 17 - Adult Equipping Classes Fellowship "Brunch" - an opportunity for all ages of adults and families to gather together and find out about upcoming classes and have a dedicated time of cross-generational mingling at 9:45am.
August 24 - Missions Update - an opportunity to hear how God was at work on a few of our summer mission trips at 9:45am and Children's Ministry Volunteer Training at Noon.
August 31 - Family Services for Labor Day Weekend.
