Child Dedication

Child Dedication Services give parents of young children a formal, public opportunity to dedicate their child to the Lord. They recognize their child as a gift from God. The parents publicly commit to providing a nurturing environment that encourages their child to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to develop an ongoing relationship with Him. The church family commits to support the parents as they disciple their child. We are excited to pray for Liam James Derenne (Jacob & Lauren); Liliana Marie Meyer (Jake & Danielle); Maliyah Lunda Ngandu Mukachung (Eric Mukachung & Tracy Nkulu); Zephaniah Lael Vande Ven (Adam & Katie); Jayda Grace Wilkinson (Jason & Dana); Lyla Elyse Bergman (Andrew & Edith); Willow Amalia-Moon Dibble (Daniel & Lacey); Micah Silas Mulder (Nathan & Jenna); Ola Jean Sanner (Timothy & Lydia); Noah Alexander & Patrick Cooper Takala (James & Danielle); Rafael Santiago Vanegas (Juan Diego & Natalia); and Joy Helena Amber Woller (Matthew & Amber).

Church Lunch and voting for Elder Candidates & more!

Mark your calendars for May 18, we'll have our annual Cookout Lunch hosted by our SWAT (Grades 9-12) student missionaries. The menu is cookout style with all the fixins (hamburgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese, potato salad, and root beer floats). All proceeds help cover the cost of the mission trip. At the meeting (which starts immediately following the serving of lunch), we will hear more about how God has been at work through many of our ministries as well as vote for the elder candidates and possible new missionary.

Click the button below for the handout with brief introductions of each of the candidates. If you have concerns or questions about the candidates you can talk to any elder or member of the Elder Process Team (Larry Birch, Doug Driscoll, Clyde Rasmussen, Lacey Anevicius, Melissa Borke, Bethany Swanstrom, or Pastor Eric Omdal). Feedback needs to be received by May 11. We will vote to affirm the candidates (if no concerns are presented) on May 18 at the Congregational Meeting.
