Closing out the Easter Season

Easter was just here! As we wrap up our Easter series this Sunday, there are only a couple more days to give towards our Easter Offering. Our Easter Offering this year will go to support three causes: combatting human trafficking in Wisconsin through the Damascus Road Project, supporting refugees that have been resettled in the Fox Valley with World Relief, and helping with a church building project in Bonneville, France with our missionary partners, Jon & Agnes Hegner. You can give by going to cbcneenah.org/give and choose Easter Offering. You can give to the Easter Offering until April 30.

Church Lunch & Elder Candidates

This Sunday, April 27, we have a few opportunities for you to meet and interact with our 3 elder candidates, Mark Bartman, Randy Foss, and Steve Mercer. You can stop by the table in the Hub today and introduce yourself and ask questions of the candidates or from someone on the Elder Process Team.  We also will have a time to hear from the candidates about their love and dedication to serving the church family as an elder at our Church Lunch. Please join us even if you forgot to register for the lunch. Click the button below for the handout with brief introductions of each of the candidates. If you have concerns or questions about the candidates you can talk to any elder or member of the Elder Process Team (Larry Birch, Doug Driscoll, Clyde Rasmussen, Lacey Anevicius, Melissa Borke, Bethany Swanstrom, or Pastor Eric Omdal). Feedback needs to be received by May 11. We will vote to affirm the candidates (if no concerns are presented) on May 18 at the Congregational Meeting.

New Adult Equipping Classes just started last Sunday, April 20.

In a church as large as Calvary, finding community can sometimes be difficult. That’s why CBC offers Sunday morning classes to equip adults for life and ministry. It’s a great way to develop friendships and grow deeper in your faith! Connect with a class that is relevant to your current stage of life. Whether you are recently a young adult, newly married, a parent with younger kids, or empty nesters and beyond, we have a LifeStage community waiting for you. While you might connect better with those in your LifeStage, you are welcome to join any class at any time!

Upcoming Class Schedule (April 20-July)

Elective: (hosted by Young Adults Class in Fellowship East) starting this Sunday, April 27 - Promised Beforehand
Newly Married: (Room 133) Conflict Resolution
