October is Pastor Appreciation Month

We are so blessed by our team of Pastors and Ministry Directors. Take some extra time this month to pray a little extra, send a handwritten note or gift card, or think of another way to show these people that God has placed to shepherd our church family how much they are loved and appreciated. If you are wanting to bless the office with treats or food, please contact the office to coordinate timing since we have several conferences and meetings with pastors gone this month.

His Little Feet Concert

Set aside your evening on Sunday, October 20 to join us for a concert put on by international kids' choir, His Little Feet. We will be hearing a glimpse of their talent for a song or two in the morning services, but that evening at 6pm they are blessing us with a full concert in the Worship Center. There is no cost to attend. Doors will open at 5:30pm and a love offering will be taken and they will have some materials available to purchase that evening.

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, October 20! Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. Let us know if you are coming by clicking the button below. We will be serving refreshments at 9:45am.

Fernando Ortega Concert

This special evening, on Friday December 13, will be a time for our church family to come together in worship, celebrating the gift of Jesus Christ. We hope that every member of our church family can join us for this beautiful time of reflection and praise. Church Family, look in your email for more information about reserving tickets. If you need help there will be a table in the Hub this Sunday, October 13 and next Sunday, October 20. Tickets will be available to the public after October 20.

Save the Date - Missions Weekend November 1-3!

There are several events happening this weekend for you to hear about how God has been at work in and through our missionary family.

Saturday, November 2 at 6pm - Family Event - Rich & Karen Brown (more about their story and a spot to register below). Dessert will be served.
Sunday, November 3 at 8:30 & 11am - Dave Rousseau preaching in Worship Services
Sunday, November 3 at 9:45am (Middle Hour) - no Adult Classes so that you can hear from our 3 special speakers, Scott Ribble (YouthHope in Florida), the Poulson's (Ethnos360 in Brazil), and Matt Swenson (Samaritan's Purse - Israel & Ukraine)
Sunday, November 3 all morning - we will have tables with many more of our missionary families so you can hear about their ministries and catch up!

Thursday Precepts

We are rolling through our study on Nehemiah currently, but our next study into Malachi is coming up very soon. This short study through the book of Malachi is a great opportunity to get a taste of what precept classes are all about. We will be studying Malachi on Thursdays, November 21, December 5 & 12 from 9-11:15am in Fellowship East. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Linda Gamerdinger and order a book. Please register before October 20 in order for the book to be here on time.
