Communion This Sunday

Please grab a communion set before entering the Worship Center this Sunday. If you are worshiping with us from elsewhere, you are welcome to prepare your own elements and join us at the appropriate time.

Operation Christmas Child - Full Circle Speaker

A shiny box with a gold ribbon - this was the surprise Vanessa's church in Honduras had for the children. After being told that Christmas was a celebration of Jesus’ birth, Vanessa, 10, discovered that inside the impressive box was a red-and-green shoebox for each of the boys and girls. She could hardly wait to open her gift! “It gave me hope,” Vanessa said. “It made me feel special. It reminded me how a couple of years ago this same Jesus cleaned me and rescued me from what I was going through.” Come hear how God used a shoebox gift to show His love to a young girl. Join us in the Youth Room on Sunday, October 6 at 2pm to hear how your shoebox can make an impact from someone who received one as a child.

Kids Choir Registration is Open

We desire to teach children (Grade 1-8) the beautiful benefits of music in a choral setting. We will glorify God together through song and learn to understand WHY we worship and WHO we worship. The Calvary Kids Choir will meet from 5:30-6:15 on Wednesday evenings before Awana classes started last week on October 2. Kids Choir will be singing in Worship Services on November 10 and December 8.

His Little Feet Concert

Set aside your evening on Sunday, October 20 to join us for a concert put on by international kids' choir, His Little Feet. We will be hearing a glimpse of their talent for a song or two in the morning services, but that evening at 6pm they are blessing us with a full concert in the Worship Center. There is no cost to attend. Doors will open at 5:30pm and a love offering will be taken and they will have some materials available to purchase that evening.

Newcomer Meet & Greet

New guests are invited to join us for a Meet & Greet on Sunday, October 20! Visit with Pastor Keith, his wife, Kerry, and some of our staff. Ask questions about our church's mission and ministry, and learn how your family can get connected at CBC. Let us know if you are coming by clicking the button below. Thursday Precepts

We are rolling through our study on Nehemiah currently, but our next study into Malachi is coming up very soon. This short study through the book of Malachi is a great opportunity to get a taste of what precept classes are all about. We will be studying Malachi on Thursdays, November 21, December 5 & 12 from 9-11:15am in Fellowship East. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Linda Gamerdinger and order a book. Please register before October 20 in order for the book to be here on time.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month

We are so blessed by our team of Pastors and Ministry Directors. Take some extra time this month to pray a little extra, send a handwritten note or gift card, or think of another way to show these people that God has placed to shepherd our church family how much they are loved and appreciated. If you are wanting to bless the office with treats or food, please contact the office to coordinate timing since we have several conferences and meetings with pastors gone this month.
