Our Passion

The Women's Ministry of Calvary Bible Church seeks to encourage and equip women in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

Through a loving and trusting environment, our goals are as follows:

  • To minister to women (spiritually, emotionally, intellectually) in a relevant way at every age and stage of life.
  • To instill the biblical principle of mentoring into every woman by providing opportunities for interaction in multi-generational settings.
  • To provide opportunity and encouragement for ministry to our community.

Check out this year's lineup of ministry events below! If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email.

                             Tuesday, December 5
                  6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.)

"Christmas by Candlelight" is the theme of this year's Christmas Tea. Join us for this wonderful Calvary Bible Christmas tradition as we gather together to share laughter, fellowship, wonderful music, and amazing desserts. Our speaker this year, Stacey Sparks, will share a short message to help us ponder the miracle and beauty of Christmas.

Invite a friend, sister, neighbor, colleague, or anyone you know, to join us as we step away from the hustle and bustle of the season and celebrate the beautiful birth of Jesus. Tickets go on sale November 5th. This is truly an event you won't want to miss!

Please note: This event is for women 18 years and older. Although we love babies, they can be a distraction so we are asking that they not be brought to this event.

Wednesday mornings            IMG 0026
September 6 through May 9
9:25 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday mornings as we begin our new series of breakout sessions. We have two classes for you to choose from:

Option #1: "These are the Days of Elijah" (Bobbie Peterson)
Where?  Campus Center

Elijah was one of the greatest prophets to ever live. He called down fire from heaven and was one of only two men to go directly to heaven. Yet he suffered with the same fears, the same doubts, and the same worries we do today.

Just as God used Elijah to do great things, He will also use you as you stand strong and do what is right. This series will show us what it looks like to be an Elijah-like woman in today’s world.

Option #2: "1 Peter" (Dana Smith) Cost $10
Where? Music Room --room 132

The book of 1 Peter is a book filled with both warnings and encouragement. Join us as we hear what Jen Wilkins has to say in her video series about how we can confidently navigate the challenges in this fallen world. When the world presses against us, God offers us hope, love, purpose, service submission and victory!

Note: This is an interactive in-depth Bible study for those women who desire to dig deeper into God’s Word.

Our Wednesday morning study is for all women, whether new to studying God’s Word or those more familiar. It is an intergenerational study with live teaching, followed by small group discussion.

Being in a Bible study is one of the most life changing things you can do! The Wednesday study is a wonderful way to grow, as well as to connect with other women. Women are encouraged to join at any time and all are welcome.

Children’s program available. The children's program is free but operates as a co-op. Moms utilizing childcare commit to helping in the childcare program each quarter.

                            Tuesday nights
                  September 12 through May 8
                      7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
                             Calvary Café

Beginning October 17, Bobbie Peterson will be leading us in a new series entitled “These are the Days of Elijah.” Elijah was one of the greatest prophets of all times and led a very interesting life. He is one of only two people to see the backside of God as He passed by and one of only two people to go directly to heaven without experiencing death. As we look at his life in the book of Kings, we will see how God can take us through challenging times and how He loves us and encourages us.

Evening Edition is designed for women of all ages and stages of life. Since we believe that Bible study and friendship go hand in hand, Evening Edition will provide you with an opportunity to meet other women as you experience rich Bible teaching.

Note: Childcare is not available.
