The Women's Ministry of Calvary Bible Church seeks to encourage and equip women in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Through a loving and trusting environment, our goals are as follows:
- To minister to women (spiritually, emotionally, intellectually) in a relevant way at every age and stage of life.
- To instill the biblical principle of mentoring into every woman by providing opportunities for interaction in multi-generational settings.
- To provide opportunity and encouragement for ministry to our community.
Check out this year's lineup of ministry events below! If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email.
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works..." Ephesians 2:10
Our new 2017/2018 Women’s Ministry brochure will be available beginning August 13. Be sure and stop by the Women's Ministry table to pick up your copy! We encourage you to try out a Bible study or attend a women’s event this coming year. It will be a wonderful opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with God and to connect with others.
Is this the year for you to study the Bible and grow spiritually? Join a women’s group? Volunteer to help with an event? If so, we are eager to welcome you! Whether you are single, married or searching to connect with others, Women's Ministry at Calvary Bible Church has a place for you.
September 6 through May 9
9:25 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Please join us as Andrea Van Ye leads us in a new study entitled “Walking with God.” God desires a close intimate relationship with us, and through our relationship with Jesus, we are given the privilege and joy to walk with Him.
In this series, we will look at 6 different stories in the Bible, where we see people walking with God, and explore in God’s Word, what it might look like for us to walk with God amidst our failures, unknowns, doubts, afflictions, and more.
Our Wednesday morning study is for all women, whether new to studying God’s Word or those more familiar. It is an intergenerational study with live teaching, followed by small group discussion.
Being in a Bible study is one of the most life changing things you can do! The Wednesday study is a wonderful way to grow, as well as to connect with other women. Women are encouraged to join at any time and all are welcome.
Children’s program available. The children's program is free but operates as a co-op. Moms utilizing childcare commit to helping in the childcare program each quarter.

September 12 through May 8
7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Come join us on Tuesday nights as we begin a new series entitled “Singing in the Reign”. Krista Zachor, Stacey Sparks and Jan Burwitz will be teaching on what we can learn through the Psalms about anger, grief, depression, insecurity and longing.
We will be taking a look at why, no matter our circumstances, we can praise God with a grateful heart knowing that He is with us each step of the way.
Timothy Keller has beautifully stated that the, “Psalms, then, are not just a matchless primer of teaching, but a medicine chest for the heart and best possible guide for practical living.” We look forward to diving into His medicine chest!
Evening Edition is designed for women of all ages and stages of life. Since we believe that Bible study and friendship go hand in hand, Evening Edition will provide you with an opportunity to meet other women as you experience rich Bible teaching.
Note: Childcare is not available.
