Visiting a new church can be overwhelming so we put together some info to make your first visits with us more enjoyable.
God created us to worship Him and obey Him in whatever He asks us to do. We believe God’s Word is relevant for all times. We offer encouraging Biblical teaching that helps us find Christ-centered solutions for the important issues we face in our lives.
Please stop by our guest information booth located to the right in the carpeted front lobby as you enter the main doors under the large overhang facing Hwy 41. Grab a welcome packet, which includes coupons for treats at the Calvary Café.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Sunday morning worship services are open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are exploring the significance of Jesus Christ, or have already accepted Jesus as your Savior and want to develop a closer relationship with Him, you will find a place at Calvary.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNING?
We have two identical services at 8:45 and 10:20 AM. We also hold Sunday school classes for all age groups during both hours.
Arrive 15 minutes before service to allow time for parking, registering your kids for Sunday school and finding a seat in our worship center. Worship service lasts about 75 minutes. During that time we sing, pray, hear reports from ministries and listen to the preaching of God's Word.
WHAT IS CALVARY'S STYLE OF TEACHING?
We focus on taking the deep truths of the Bible and explain them in a manner that applies to our world today. We spend most of the year preaching through books of the Bible, with occasional breaks for topic-based sermons. Our Sunday school classes for kids and adults focus on sound, Biblical teaching relevant to each age level.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We want you to be comfortable when you join us. Whether you prefer dressing formally or prefer a more casual style like khakis and jeans, you will fit right in!
WHAT IS THE WORSHIP MUSIC LIKE?
A worship team leads our music with guitars, piano, keyboard and percussion. We draw the believer and seeker into the presence of God with a blend of contemporary music and traditional worship hymns.
IS THERE A MINISTRY FOR KIDS?
Our "Kingdom Zone" is held during both service hours for kids ages birth through 6th grade.
The children's info booth is located in the Campus Center, which is to the left of our main entrance. You can ask any of our greeters when you walk in a door to direct you to the Kingdom Zone booth. The child registration process takes about 15 minutes on your first visit and moves quickly the following visits. If you want to make your check-in process a little smoother during your first visit, download a registration form from the Kingdom Zone page and fill it out in advance.
We value safety as well as age-appropriate teaching for your kids. If your child has special needs, we want to invite you to ask about our Masterpiece Ministry. Masterpiece is designed to help children and their families experience love and acceptance during worship, teaching and fellowship.
ARE THERE CLASSES FOR MY PRE-TEEN & TEENAGER?
We offer lots of fun opportunities for teens and pre-teens to connect on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. We desire to help equip your child with the truth of God's Word in an environment that encourages growth and relationship with their fellow classmates. Our youth ministry for 7th and 8th-grade students meets during first-hour in room 205/207. The high school community (grades 9-12) meets during the second hour in Room 205/207.
WHERE DO I PARK?
The front parking lot (next to Hwy 41) is located near our main entrance to our worship center. It includes parking spaces for visitors (clearly marked) in the first row directly in front of the main entrance. When you enter the doors, greeters will welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Right inside the door to the right is our information booth. Stop by and get a visitor packet with some coupons to our Calvary Cafe!
There is a large parking lot located in the rear of the building that has parking near entryways to make it easy for senior adults, families with babies and toddlers or those who have physical challenges to enter our building. There is a sliding door entrance to the building to the left of the patio, as well as several normal entryways for you to access in our back lot.
During the winter months, there is a valet service in our main parking lot to assist those who need help in parking their vehicle. You can access the valet during winter months by driving under the overhang near the main entrance.
IS CALVARY HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Calvary is compliant with all handicap regulations and has several locations in the worship center for wheelchairs or those needing additional space. If you need assistance, see any of our greeters stationed at our entrances. An usher can also provide a written song sheet for those unable to stand during the music portion of the service.
Each restroom has at least one extra wide stall fitted with grab bars. There are also individual restrooms located in Room 112 (Music Room) and in the hallway of the preschool wing across from Rooms 202 and 204. These restrooms are fitted with grab bars and sinks where an individual in a walker or wheelchair can enter and close and lock the door. This would help to accommodate those who have an assistant accompanying them. Please note that Calvary Bible Church does not provide assistance in a stall or restroom.
Handicapped parking spaces are clearly marked in the first row directly in front of the main entrance.
Assisted Hearing System
The worship center is equipped with a hearing loop. Those with compatible hearing aids should switch to "T" setting. Headsets and earbuds are available at the guest information booth in the lobby. If you have questions on how to use the hearing loop, please ask an usher. (For more info on how hearing loops work, please visit Fox Valley Hearing Loop.)
Working service dogs are always welcome at Calvary Bible Church.
