If you have biblical reservations regarding the individuals or items for voting listed below, you are asked to present your concerns in writing to the chairman of the Elder Board (Charlie Hansen) as soon as possible, click the button below or put a letter in one of the offering boxes before September 19, 2022 (addressed to Church Elders). If you have questions, please contact Executive Pastor Steven Nichols or Director of Operations Josiah Rocke in the church office.

Please be aware that written concerns about voted positions must also bear the signature of the person expressing the concern or they are deemed invalid. The elders will investigate these concerns & subsequently withdraw the name if the charges are accurate. If the charges are unfounded or if there are no reservation brought up against the candidate, they will then be affirmed for service at Calvary Bible Church after the vote at the Annual Meeting.

Financial Secretary - Rob Monson

We are voting to extend Rob's term of service one year to stagger the voting between this position and Treasurer. 

The Financial Secretary shall be a member of Calvary Bible Church and be elected by the congregation. The term of office for this position is three years (unless he/she is filling a partial term). The person holding the position may be re-elected for a second three-year term. He/she shall be a member of the Finance committee and shall be responsible for establishing and implementing procedures for counting or overseeing the counting of contributions, ensuring that counting takes place in a timely manner, making or ensuring that bank deposits are made, keeping a careful record of all receipts, and issuing receipts to donors.

Rob Monson Bio: I became a Christian in 1998 after moving to Wisconsin from Seattle and having the Lord open my eyes to see his amazing attributes in his creation. I started to attend Calvary in 1999 with my wife Katie. We became members a few years later. We have three adult children: Alex (23), Olivia (20), and Jack (19). Katie and I have been involved in teaching theBridge (6th grade Sunday school) for the last 14+ years.

The Church Treasurer shall be a member of Calvary Bible Church and be elected by the congregation. The Treasurer’s term of office shall be three years (unless he/she is filling a partial term). The Treasurer may be re-elected for a second three-year term. He/she shall be entrusted with the care of all funds received or collected and for managing the financial  resources of the church. He/she shall participate in the regularly scheduled meetings of the Governing Board as a non-voting member to give financial updates and recommendations pertaining to his/her office, providing a monthly update of the status of church finances and at a minimum, he/she shall provide quarterly and annual updates to the congregation. He/she shall be a member of the Finance Committee.

Jeff’s Biography: My wife Bethany (Jeske) and I have been attending Calvary Bible Church since 1998. Bethany has been attending her entire life, and I join her after we were married. We have four biological children: Carson, Grant (married to Waverly), Owen, Jena and two adopted daughters: Olga and Genese. I came to a saving faith in Jesus at the age of six. It has been a privilege to walk with Jesus for most of my life.

During our time at CBC, our main ministry has been Wednesday night C-Team. I love junior high students. I currently serve as an elder of Calvary. I am the Chief Financial Officer at Jeske Hardware Distributors (a wholesale hardware distribution company). During my spare time, I enjoy being active outside.

Our proposed giving budget for 2022/2023 is $2.325M which is a 2.9% increase over 2021/2022 projected giving.

New Missionary Family

M&A plan to head to the Arab World to join a church planting team. Their first two years will focus on language learning and culture acquisition. In this hard to reach area, being able to communicate well and understand the cultural differences are paramount to communicating the gospel.

After completing training, M&A plan to proclaim the gospel of Christ and are praying for a church to be planted in this unreached group.
